- Make sure that we should carpool or use public transport instead of using one car for each family
- Use a timer or have your family members always reminding you that your time is up when you are having a shower( use water wisely)
- Have nude food in lunchboxes to stay plastic free or if you have plastic then remember to put the plastic in the bin but be careful to put it in the right bin
- Have a green life e.g, keep plants in your home, plant trees, grow your own garden
- Use natural resources that will pretty much always be there e.g, put on a jumper if you are cold instead of turning the heater on, dry your cloths on a drying line outside instead of using a cloths electric dryer
- Try going car free for a day and enjoy walking to destinations with nature and your family
- Only buy items if you really need it regularly
- Use second handed cloths if you have an older sibling. Don’t throw away something that can still be used and don’t buy something new just because it is on the trend. Soon, that trend will finish and it will just be a waste of money that could help with something that you actually need
- Use stairs instead of an elevator. Who knows how many germs are stuck inside small places which gets used by so many people when you can be in fresh air getting exercise
- Choose environmentally friendly products which can decompose when thrown out
- The most important one are the three r’s which are reuse, reduce and recycle
